Heat Madness

I live in Phoenix. This “city” is a scorching asphalt pit. I say city in quotations because I’m from the East coast where real cities exist. Phoenix is urban sprawl in it’s purest form. Cookie cutter houses and strip malls as far as the eye can see. There’s terrible public transportation and there’s no real downtown. Also, it’s hot here. Like really flipping hot. You know that blast to the face you get when you open the oven? It’s like living in that. You can legit feel your skin start to burn within minutes of stepping outside. It’s not a dry heat, that’s a filthy lie to get old people to move here. All summer is monsoon season. So it’s 110 with 40% humidity. Doesn’t sound so bad, but it is. Just trust me on this one.

The whole point of this rant is to bitch that my AC has been out for the past week. It’s finally on now, and I’ve got it colder than a witch’s tit in here to make up for the past week of muggy living. Here is a short video of my decent into heat madness:
